The World Robot Olympiad (WRO) India National Championship 2025 is scheduled to be held on September 5-6, 2025 September 2025 at the GMR Arena in GMR Aerocity Hyderabad.
GMR Aerocity joins as the Platinum Sponsor for this prestigious event, which will convene the nation’s most promising young talents in the field of robotics. Serving as the national culmination of the WRO India 2025 season, themed “The Future of Robots,” the championship will identify and celebrate the top-performing teams who will earn the opportunity to represent India at the WRO International Championship in Singapore.
As the World Robot Olympiad enters its 19th year on the global stage, WRO India 2025 invites students between the ages of 8 and 19 to participate in this competition.
Aligned with the theme “The Future of Robots,” the championship offers a platform for young innovators to engage with advanced robotics and emerging technologies. Participants will be tasked with conceptualising, designing and programming autonomous robotic solutions that address real-world challenges, improve quality of life and contribute to the evolution of various industries, according to a release.
